Discrepancy alerts

After every run, approvers get one email listing periods where expected and invoiced differ by at least your threshold, under-billed or over-billed. Each period is reported once.

Commit pacing

Daily, TrueUpp projects each active contract's open period from usage so far. When it's on pace to use more than your threshold of its available credits, or less than half, approvers hear about it while there's still time to act. Projections start once a period is a week old, or a quarter of the way through if that is sooner.

In the exceptions inbox

Alerts also appear in the exceptions inbox as Info items, which never block approval.

Turning alerts on and setting thresholds

An admin sets alerts in the Alerts section of Settings › General:

SettingDefaultWhat it does

Discrepancy threshold100Alert when expected and invoiced differ by at least this amount, in the contract's currency.
Pacing alert at (% of available credits)90Alert when projected use reaches this share of the period's available credits. Allowed values are 50 to 200. Low pacing, 50% or less, always alerts.

Emails go to every admin and approver in the workspace.
