Plans and billing

How TrueUpp's plans and annual billing work: choosing a plan, switching and downgrading, invoices, overdue payments, cancelling and data deletion.

On this page

TrueUpp is billed annually in USD. Plans differ by the number of active contracts and the integrations included; prices are also on the Billing page in Settings.

The plans

PlanPriceActive contractsAdds
Starter$5,988 a year ($499 a month)Up to 30CSV usage import, Stripe draft sync, rules engine, calculation traces, audit statements
Growth$11,988 a year ($999 a month)Up to 150Warehouse sync (Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres), NetSuite, discrepancy and pacing alerts, multi-currency, minimum-commit shortfall lines, removing the statement footer
Scale$21,588 a year ($1,799 a month)Up to 500Salesforce CPQ sync, custom rollover logic

Each plan includes everything in the plan before it. A contract counts as active while today falls inside its terms; contracts that have ended, or that you archive, don't count towards the limit.

Choosing a plan

Admins open Settings › Billing and click Choose plan. Checkout opens over the page. The plan is active as soon as payment completes, and the receipt is emailed by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and handles sales tax and VAT.

If Choose plan isn't shown, online checkout isn't switched on for your workspace yet: email hello@trueupp.com and we invoice annually by hand.

Changing plans

With an active subscription, the other plans show Switch to …. A switch changes your existing subscription; it never starts a second one. The difference is charged or credited right away, prorated for the rest of your term, and our payment provider emails the prorated invoice.

You can't downgrade to a plan that allows fewer active contracts than you have. Archive contracts you no longer bill first; archived contracts and their history stay available. The same limit applies when you add or import contracts: the message says how many you have and which plan allows more.

Payment details and invoices

Manage billing opens the billing portal, where you update the card, download invoices and cancel.

Overdue payments

If a renewal payment fails, the workspace keeps working for 14 days while payment is retried. After that it becomes read-only until payment is settled; exports keep working throughout, and admins can still manage billing.

Cancelling and your data

After cancelling, the workspace stays available until the end of the paid term and then becomes read-only. All usage, ledger, line and statement data is deleted 30 days after the term ends, and admins are emailed the date. Export anything you need from Settings › Data before then. Admins get a second email confirming the deletion once it's done. See security and data handling.
