October 2026
TrueUpp's first release. Everything below is available now, on the plans noted.
Setup guides
- Step-by-step setup guides for every connection and import, linked from the forms and error messages that need them. (19 October)
Contracts
- A contract form for commits, included credits, metric weights, free allowances, rollover with a stated cap basis, grace and overage tiers, each with its clause reference.
- Amendments as new segments from an effective date, with both carry-forward outcomes shown before you save.
- Import contract terms from the TrueUpp audit YAML or JSON, or many contracts at once from a segments CSV.
- Archive contracts you no longer bill to free their plan slot, or delete a contract that was never pushed.
- Other currencies on Growth, one currency per contract. Starter bills in USD.
Usage data
- Upload monthly aggregate or line-level usage CSVs, with a progress bar. Each file imports completely or not at all, and rejected rows are listed with their line numbers.
- Duplicate events are counted once, within a file and across files.
- Usage for an account with no contract is held until you attach or ignore it.
- A usage webhook API for sending line-level usage from your own systems.
- Daily warehouse sync from Snowflake, BigQuery or Postgres (Growth).
Close and review
- Close runs by hand, or scheduled each month on your close day in your time zone. Nothing is approved or pushed automatically.
- A calculation trace for every line, with the clause behind each step.
- Approve, hold, reject or release lines, and approve every clean draft at once. A line blocked by an exception links straight to it.
- Optional four-eyes rule: the person who pushes must differ from the person who approved.
- Approved periods never change. Late usage becomes an adjustment on the next open period.
- Minimum-commit shortfall lines at the end of a commitment term (Growth).
- An exceptions inbox with Review, Data and Info severities, assignment, resolution notes and per-contract suppression of Info items.
Billing systems
- Push approved lines to Stripe as draft invoice items, with a restricted key or by installing the TrueUpp app in Stripe. TrueUpp checks the key's read and write permissions when you connect.
- When a customer ID lookup fails, the message names the Stripe account and mode TrueUpp is connected to.
- Finalized, voided and deleted invoices update lines through the Stripe webhook, and a weekly check catches items edited in Stripe.
- A successful push closes that period's earlier unmapped-customer and push-failure exceptions.
- NetSuite invoices in Pending Approval (Growth).
- Salesforce CPQ sync, with a display-only balance summary written back (Scale).
Statements and reporting
- An audit statement per contract and period, as PDF or CSV, or a read-only link that expires and can be revoked. Statements show usage by month.
- A findings report for each close run, as PDF or Markdown.
- Discrepancy and commit-pacing alerts by email and in the inbox (Growth).
- A Metrics page with run counts, run times, pushes, exceptions and webhook health.
Admin and trust
- Two-factor sign-in required for every user, and admin, approver and analyst roles.
- A full audit log with before and after values, exportable as CSV.
- CSV exports of contracts, lines, ledger, rollover lots, exceptions, usage and the audit log.
- Email confirmation when a cancelled workspace's data is scheduled for deletion, and again when it's deleted.
- Annual plans you can choose and switch in the app. A switch changes your subscription in place, and a downgrade below your active contract count is refused.
- Your company logo in the workspace sidebar.
